Summit Residence | Las Vegas, NV

Perched above the desert valley, these northern US residents spend their winters warming up in Las Vegas, Nevada. The restrained material palette allows the surrounding landscape, reflection pool and night sky take center stage. It was a true collaborative effort between the designer and construction team on the both the architectural details and interior design, with a heavy focus on the structural, mechanical, plumbing designs and equipment specs. The joint efforts continued with structural engineers and stair contractors to create a mono stringer, floating stair suspended off of a cantilevered bridge - a feat with in itself.
