Sonoma Retreat | Sonoma, CA

Nestled along a vineyards hillside, the multi-functional structure serves as preparation area, storage and indoor/outdoor relaxation zone. After a hard days work, the retreat provides a refuge from the heat, while one reflects on the fruits of their labor. In order to future proof the building from potential wildfires, the new structure will be built with non-combustible materials, roof rainwater will be collected for irrigation, and electricity will be provided from a solar array located on the roof.
