A growing family found a mid-century home with room to evolve. We reimagined the kitchen, living, and outdoor dining spaces as one seamless experience, framed by the surrounding landscape. Circular kitchen islands, concealed appliances, and a swiveling countertop balance utility with gathering, while a barbecue carved into a natural boulder extends daily life outdoors. Custom furnishings complement authentic mid-century pieces, and regional designers, local fabricators, and locally sourced materials celebrate California craftsmanship. Through quiet restraint, the project renews the home’s original spirit for a new generation.
